Ward Mountain Campground
From Ely, Nevada, take Highway 6 southwest 10 miles towards Tonopah.
There are 33 campsites, including nine back-in and three pull-thru RV sites. These sites also have picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals. At this campground, recreation activities include mountain/roading biking, backpack/day hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Timber Creek Campground
From Ely, Nevada, take US-93 north and drive 5 miles north past the town of McGill. Turn on State Route 486 and continue 8 miles on this paved road. Turn left on Forest road 425 at the Timber Creek sign. Drive up this dirt road another 3 miles to the campground.
There are 11 campsites, including five group sites and six RV sites. These sites also have picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals. At this campground, recreation activities include river/stream fishing, backpack/day hiking, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

White River Campground
From Ely, Nevada, take highway 6 southwest approximately 30 miles towards Tonopah. Proceed west on the road 405 (dirt) approximately 10 miles to the White River Campground.
There are five camping sites, which include picnic tables and campfire rings. At this campground, recreation activities include river/stream fishing and off-highway vehicle riding.

Bird Creek Campground
From Ely, Nevada, take highway 93 north to the town of McGill. From McGill, keep going north on Highway 93, 5 miles to Duck Creek Basin turnoff. Proceed east on Duck Creek Basin road (State Route 486) and turn left at sign for Bird Creek Recreation area.
There are nine campsites, including two double sites and one group site. These sites also have picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals. At this campground, recreation activities include river/stream fishing, mountain biking, day hiking, and off-highway vehicle riding.

East Creek Campground
From Ely, Nevada, take highway 93 north to the town of McGill. From McGill, keep going north on Highway 93, 5 miles to Duck Creek Basin turnoff. Proceed east on Duck Creek Basin road and turn left at sign for East Creek Recreation area road 564.
East Creek Campground is located high on the slopes of the Schell Creek Range. East Creek, a perennial stream, runs directly through the campground area. There are seven campsites, including one tent only camping sites and six RV sites. These sites also have picnic tables and campfire rings. At this campground, recreation activities include mountain biking, backpack/day hiking, and off-highway vehicle riding.

Campgrounds In Great Basin National Park
Great Basin National Park offers five different campgrounds to stay at while you visit. These campgrounds range from high elevation areas like Wheeler Peak Campground at 10,000 feet to beautiful pinon juniper areas at 6,500 feet in Grey Cliffs Campground.

Barley Creek Campground
From Tonopah, Nevada, take highway 6 east approximately 5 miles to State Route 376. Proceed north on 376 approximately 13 miles to the junction with NV-82. Proceed north on 82 approximately 26 miles to the town of Belmont. Leave Belmont on 82 heading northeast for approximately 5 miles to the junction with Forest Road 005. There is a directional sign on west side of road. Proceed east approximately 10 miles to the Barley Creek Campground.
Access to the Table Mountain Wilderness by Barley Creek and Cottonwood Creek Trailheads. There are eight camping sites with picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals, horse corrals and toilet facilities. At this campground, recreation activities include river/stream fishing, backpack/day hiking, horseback riding.

Belmont Campground
From Tonopah, Nevada, take highway 6 east approximately 5 miles to State Route 376. Proceed north on 376 approximately 13 miles to the junction with NV State Route 82. Procced north on 82 approximately 25 miles to Forest Road 446, one mile before the town of Belmont. Proceed Northwest approximately one-half mile to Belmont Campground.
Near the historic town of Belmont. Short distance to Barley Creek and Cottonwood Creek trailheads that access Table Mountain Wilderness and Pine Creek Trailhead that access Alta Toquima Wilderness. There are 10 camping sites with picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals and toilet facilities. At this campground, recreation activities include off-highway vehicle riding, backpack/day hiking.

Peavine Campground
From Tonopah, Nevada, take highway 6 east approximately 5 miles to State Route 376. Proceed north on 376 approximately 40 miles to Forest Road 20 (Peavine Campground turnoff). Proceed west, northwest approximately 9 miles to the Peavine Campground.
Located in Peavine Canyon, on the southeastern side of the Toiyabe Mountain Range. Peavine Creek also flows through this site. Small store located in the Hadley subdivision, 11 miles north of the campground turnoff. Access to the Arc Dome Wilderness by the Peavine and Toms Canyon Trailheads. There are 11 camp sites, 1 group site with picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals and 2 toilet facilities.

Pine Creek Campground
From Tonopah, Nevada, take highway 6 east approximately 5 miles to State Route 376. Proceed north on 376 approximately 13 miles to the State Road 82 junction towards Belmont. Remain on State Road 82 continuing north approximately 42 miles, through Belmont to Forest Service Road 009. Turn left and continue west into the campground.
Situated on the eastern side of the Toquima Mountain Range in the Monitor Valley. Places to visit are Arc Dome Wilderness, Alta Toquima Wilderness Area, Diana’s Punch Bowl, the towns of Belmont and Manhattan. Pets should be kept on leash. 21 camp sites, 1 group site with picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals, and 3 toilet facilities. At this campground, recreation activities include river/stream fishing, backpack/day hiking, horseback riding.

Cleve Creek Campground
From Ely go 26 miles south east on U. S. Hwy 6-50, then north on State 893 for 12 miles
Cleve Creek runs through the campground with large cottonwood trees. There are 12 campsites and 1 group site with picnic tables & fire grills. Not suitable for large trailers. Restrooms available but no potable water. Restrictions: Hunting/shooting is not allowed within developed recreation sites. Motorized travel is not allowed within Wilderness Areas.

Sacramento Pass Rec. Area
Sacramento Pass Recreation Area is located along Highway 50 about 40 miles east of Ely or 15 miles west of the Utah border. Approximately 20 miles from Great Basin National Park. Look for the sign on the south side of the Hwy.
There are 10 sites with a 14-day limit. Other amenities include picnic tables, grills, shade structures, trash cans and restrooms. No potable water. At the lower campground there is a small pond for fishing. This pond is stocked with trout from the nearby Spring Creek Fish Hatchery.
